How is your weekend so far?

Mine is fine! I'm so exited for tomorrow! That's when I return to Sanoma Media (my last internship where I had a great time). Back then I was an intern at "Stay or Go" and "10 voor je Tuin", now will I do things for vtwonen and the other Home Deco sites. I can't wait to see the blogs I wrote appear on those sites! :) But blogging is not the only thing I'm gonna do. I also get involved with the design of the websites and making flyers and banners as promoting.

It will be long (fulltime) weeks for me, but I don't mind it. I think this is gonna be the best internship of all time! I hope I'll get permission to show you things I've made there. In the meantime I'll be working on my portfolio, cause maybe soon, I might get a call from the school I want to study after the Summer. My portfolio has to be complete and good looking for that meeting. But don't worry, I won't let you down! ;-) Oh, and the name of the school I'm applying for is KABK in The Hague. And the study called: Grafisch Ontwerpen. This was the best school I visited. And I've been to a lot, I'm telling you! Great projects, nice students.. Yes, this is the perfect study for me :) My dad (who is a Graphic Designer) is so proud of me and likes that one day, I will do the same thing he does! We can build a father/daughter business together, haha! :) Well, first I have to make my exams at my current school. But, you'll never now what the future brings ;-)

We got tickets!

Yes! My sister and I finally go to Lowlands this year! :D This a great festival in the Summer (like Rock Werchter in Belgium and Roskilde in Denmark) We saw the show for the first time (about 2 years ago) live on television. That was the period we become acquainted with alternative music. Unfortunately, Amber was too young back then, and last year we were too late buying the tickets (it was sold out in 2 hours!) But almost an hour ago, me, my mom and Amber were sitting beside my computer and watched the time ticking away. There was a very long row, but after a half and hour waiting we were in. Gosh, I'm so happy! I still can't believe it! This will be such an experience for me! I love festivals and this is one I definitely had to be in my life.

When the time is there (17, 18 and the 19th of August) I will be in Biddinghuizen and enjoying the incredible performances of small and huge bands all over the world :) And when I'm back you definitely gonna read my story here. With lots of pictures and extensive reports!

Wake Up Call

Hi everyone! :)

Sorry, I know I haven't post much this week. I must confess I had a very Inspire-less week with a lot of boredom. Altough I have given a new boost to my pages! So if you're interested and you've never seen my pages before, take a look at them now! The only thing that is changed are the photo's. The're bigger now and are from a better quality.

What I also did this week was saving this cute pattern from Shutterstock, where I'm always on when I'm bored or have nothing to do. So that's first, second.. my next blog is probably about my last week at Ikea. I'm not sure if I can stay, altough I really want to, because I liked it very much this Summer, working there. Next week will be a busy week! 40 hours working and Sunday the 70th birthday of my grandma :) Me, my parents, Amber, uncle and aunt and of course my grandmother- and father are going to the musical 'Soldaat van Oranje'. Maybe you'll recognize the title. It was a huge film, back in the seventies with the Dutch top actor 'Rutger Hauer'. After the musical we're having diner, and that will also be very nice. Absolutely :)
