Inside Design #5: Villa Plus in Stockholm

Welcome to a new Inside Design! My monthly column where we take a sneak peek of the interior design and architecture of houses and apartments, in the make or finished and for sale.

Villa Plus is a project by Waldemarson Berglund Arkitekter. The house is located in Stockholm, Sweden and the place is surrounded by nature and inspiring views. The layout of the house and the huge glass windows allow people to enjoy the beauty of the beach with the comfort of the city. Material choices were made to create an affinity with the environment and the result is a contemporary and beautiful house.

I find this house amazing. The place is clean, elegant and really beautiful. The spaces, materials and views create a super charming house. Definitely a great place to live!

Inside Design #3: Belsize House

Welcome to a new Inside Design! My new monthly column where we take a sneak peek of the interior design and architecture of houses and apartments, in the make or finished and for sale.

I have seen this house a few weeks ago but I knew immediately that I would use this for Inside Design. This interior is special cause of the mix modern/classic. You see this back into the floor (in Dutch we call this a "visgraat" aka fishbone) and the chimney(s). I love the authentic walls and ceiling. And I always wanted a house with a bay window. When we look at the (open)kitchen we see an Italian well defined way of cooking. What also noticed me was a half round oak door in the living room (never seen that before!) And last but not least, the huge colourful couch and the hairy pink chair (I tought it was made by a Dutch designer, but I'm not sure). Especially the couch is so cool in my opinion! You don't need a bed anymore!

This beautiful spacious and very light apartment is for sale in NW Leafy London. So call up your real estate agent and make an appointment to visit this place!

Inside Design #2: Kensal Walk

Welcome to a new Inside Design! My new monthly column where we take a sneak peek of the interior design and architecture of houses or apartments, in the make or finished and for sale.

Last time we were in Canada, now we cross over to the US. We're in Louisville (Kentucky). These houses, in the sparkly neighbourhood Windsor Gate, ranging to 2000 square feet and are all well finished. There's also a double garage and private fenced yards. Inside, rich interiors feature master bedrooms with walk-in closets, soaker tubs, imported tiles and an open kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

Inside Design #1: Wedgewood

Welcome to my new monthly column (next to BOTM and AOTM) called: Inside Design! A sneak peek of the interior design and architecture of houses or apartments, in the make or finished and for sale.

We start in North Vancouver (Canada). This house has 3-4 bedrooms and is located in Lynnmour, close to the waters of Lynn Creek. It has everything you want for your home, a warm floor, an expended kitchen and a double-car garage. The furniture is contemporary and luxurious and there's a cosy fireplace where you can completely relax after a long day.
