Morning!

Do you know webshop Apt2B? This company, located in Los Angeles sells great things for your home. I came her accidentally and found an amazing collection. Especially the accessories I prefer the most. The webshop is clear and well organized. But also funny, as you can see in the videos the designers put on their site and the way the content has been written. They also have a blog, where you can get inspired. So, why waiting? AOTM #3: Colourful Apartment in NYC

That was long time ago, but I just found a great candidate for a new: "Apartment Of The Month". I'll take you to Manhattan were Claiborne Swanson just decorated her first apartment, which looks pretty good, don't you think?

Before Claiborne Swanson Frank moved in her husband's apartment, it was a dead end story. All the rooms were empty and there was no decoration or furnishings. "That has to change right now!", she said. She didn't it all by herself but got help by her mother in law. They went to several stores and worked with great materials and heavy colours. Now she's more than happy with the result.

I find it a light and cosy apartment with lots of accessories (paintings, flowers etc.) And I like the colour accents in the pillows and rugs. When I look at her clothes I can imagine that she's pretty comfortable in living here. It reflects her tastes and who she is.

Buying new accessories?

Hello Lovelies!

Hope everyone is still here. I've been away for a while but I'm good as back now :) Sorry for the silence but as you might know, I'm in my final year of college so that means hard working for me. Even when I have to leave my blog alone..

Oh well, how is everyone doing? When I was looking for furniture and accessories for my project Facebook beeps and came with a new extraordinary collection of Maisons du Monde (my favourite shop). This was a view days ago and I promised myself to show it to you. Now that everything is good as finished, I have a little bit more time to do also other things than working on that damn project ;-) The collection is, what we're used to, very colourful! Colour Catch #1: Lime and Turquoise

There goes my promise to you that I would blog everyday! My apologies. This is the last blog of this year. And also a new column: Colour Catch! I'm a big fan of heavy colours, but I like the pastels and the regullary black and white as well. I (hopefully) show you every month a photo of an interior with colours that inspires me, cause of the combination or because it's trending in fashion world.

We begin with Lime green and Turquoise. Many clothes of mine are turquoise, cause it's a colour I wear often and feel comfortable in it. Lime was back in 2005 a very popular colour in the interior scene. I found this photo and saw the outstanding walls what got my attention. Now I was curious in how far I could find photos of clothing and accessories in that colour combination. This was quite easy actually. In no time I had found the perfect shoes and the most beautiful neckless I've ever seen!

Catch the sun!

Hello Bloggers!

How is everyone doing? I miss the sun during these dark days :( But I cheered up a little when I saw these interiors with a mini sun on the wall! That's something different than the ordinary photoframes. That's also nice don't get me wrong! ;-) I've never seen that kind of accessorie in stores here, or I haven't seen it yet. I will keep my eyes open next time I go shopping.. So, what do you think? Do like suns or do you prefer photoframes.. or neither of them? That's also a possibility ofcourse :) Here I have some examples for you.

Walk-in Closets

Who doesn't want to have a beautiful walk-in closet? It's a dream of many many girls. Well, it's also one of mines! A second room next to your bedroom where all your clothing, accessories, bags and shoes are. Isn't that amazing?! For me, it sounds like music in my ears :) What about you? Do you hear the music?
